How does the support group work?

SALGA NYC’s support group is a peer-facilitated, confidential and safe space for self-empowerment of individuals who identify as both South Asian and Queer. Support group meets the 2nd Saturday of every month from 4 to 6 pm at the LGBT Center of New York City. No prior appointment is necessary to attend.

How can I volunteer with SALGA?

SALGA NYC is a completely volunteer-run organization, and has no paid staff. Everyone on the SALGA NYC board steering committee is also a volunteer.
