SALGA NYC Stands Against Recent Violence in Charlottesville

Following the recent events taking place in Charlottesville, Virginia, SALGA NYC expresses our deepest sympathies to all those impacted. SALGA NYC would like to remind our community that we stand against any violence, hatred, bigotry, and intolerance of extremist groups such as neo-Nazis, the KKK, white supremacists and other bigoted people.

SALGA NYC’s mission has been to promote awareness, acceptance, empowerment, and safe inclusive spaces for people of all sexual and gender identities and to encourage leadership. During this difficult time we would like to bring awareness to the resources available to our community. As a reminder, SALGA NYC holds space for support at the LGBT Center every second Saturday of the month. The next support group will meet on September 9th, 2017.
